Handling nearly 40 million rides a year, Chicago’s Red Line train functions as a vital connector for the city and region, making its line extension investment an exciting prospect that requires careful consideration. Being certified as a DBE with the Illinois Department of Transportation allowed Ware Realty Group to provide market analysis for the new stations proposed for south of 95th Street. We analyzed residential real estate market data, lending metrics and vital evaluations to help the Chicago Transit Authority identify areas of opportunity. We also participated in community engagement and outreach via public Red Line Extension meetings for each of the proposed stations.
